DO I NEED TO BE FULLY VACCINATED?
Yes, if we are under any Covid requirements or restrictions unless you have a valid exemption certificate, We would ask you to be fully vaccinated and provide a copy of your My Vaccine Pass in order to use the Gym.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO JOIN THE GYM?
There is a one-time $30 joining fee plus $30 per month for a single membership and $55 per month for a family membership.
HOW MUCH IS THE FIRST PAYMENT?
$60 for single members and $85 for family members.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE PART OF A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP?
Family memberships are limited to four persons.
DO ALL FAMILY MEMBERS HAVE TO LIVE TOGETHER?
Yes – all family members must live in the same household.
CAN MY FLATMATE AND I JOIN ON A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP?
No – all persons on a family membership must be related.
HOW DO I PAY?
Payment is by automatic payment, monthly in advance, to the Greytown Gym’s Kiwibank account number 38 9012 0035527 00. Please put your last name as a reference.
IS THERE A MINIMUM MEMBERSHIP TERM?
No – you can end your membership at any time with nothing further to pay by notifying the Committee and returning the key fob .
WHERE IS THE GYM?
The gym is at the side entrance to the Greytown Rugby Football which is at 123 East Street, Greytown.
WHEN IS THE GYM OPEN?
The gym is open 24/7.
CAN I HAVE A LOOK AT THE GYM BEFORE JOINING?

HOW DO I JOIN THE GYM?
You will need to complete an application form which can be found on the website.

CAN I SEND THE APPLICATION FORM AS A PDF DOCUMENT?
DO I NEED GYM TRAINING BEFORE JOINING?
Yes. If you have not received training at another gym then training in the use of the gym equipment our qualified Trainer can provide training. The charge for an initial basic training session at the gym is $30 plus GST.
HOW DO I CONTACT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A TRAINER?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you to arrange a suitable time.
WHEN DO I GET MY KEY
You will be able to get your key after your application has been accepted, your joining fee and first month’s fee has been deposited to the Gym’s account, and you have completed any training if necessary.
CAN I CHANGE FROM A SINGLE TO A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP IF I WAS A SINGLE MEMBER IN

I WAS A MEMBER IN THE PAST AND LET MY MEMBERSHIP LAPSE. CAN I RE-JOIN?
Yes. Just get in touch with Noeline Wells 021 167 1487. You may need to update your details as well.
DO I NEED TO RETURN MY KEY WHEN I END MY MEMBERSHIP?
Yes. Return the key to Noeline Wells 021 167 1487. If you don’t you will be charged a $30 lost key fee.
IF I LOSE MY KEY CAN I GET ANOTHER?
Yes. Contact Noeline Wells 021 167 1487. You will be charged a $30 lost key fee.
DOES THE GYM HAVE CLASSES?
No, because there is not enough room.
DOES THE GYM HAVE A PERSONAL TRAINER?
Yes. We are able to offer personalised training programmes designed by our qualified trainer.
